By combining the Rhino Rack pioneer system alongside Maximus-3's proprietary mounting system, you're able to get an extremely strong, durable, and usable system that is also aesthetically pleasing. We've personally spent the last 4+ years using this setup on the roughest and most un-forgiving trails across our great nation, and have yet to experience a single issue or flaw. Its also easily removeable by removing 8 nuts for cleaning or mounting new brackets to hold different gear (check out Maximus-3's website).
